Meet Scott Avis

Born and raised in South Roanoke, I have deep and significant ties to the neighborhood and to the city of Roanoke. South Roanoke is where I am raising my own children who are the fourth generation of my family to call the South Roanoke neighborhood their home. I have invested, renovated, and lived in nine homes in the neighborhood. Watching the neighborhood I grew up in go through a growth is truly special. The South Roanoke area now has vibrant energy eminating from the local stores and restaurants like River & Rail, Crystal Spring Grocery, and Fork in the Alley. Beyond South Roanoke, the area as a whole has been through a transformation with the expansion of Carilion Medical Center and the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine and Research Institute, as well as the booming developments in Botetourt County, have all contributed to the community that exists here now. The future of the Roanoke Valley and surrounding counties is what excites me most about this business.

After 25 years, I left my job that my father created for me at the family construction company, in an effort to be successful on my own. I plunged into the real estate world in 2011. With the work ethic and construction background instilled by my father, i became on eof the top producers in the market within my first year. During my real estate career, I have sold over $400 million, dominating the South Roanoke area by selling over 50% of everything ont he market while also being successful throughout the Roanoke Valley, Smith Mountian Lake, and surrounding counties. My relationships with contractors and sub constractors have enabled me to assist my clients with not only buying and selling their homes, but also making anything from small repairs to large renovations happen.

I am fortunate to have found a career I truly enjoy. Every client and transaction is different and every morning brings a new excitement.
