Over the years, I’ve lived in seven states and moved more than sixteen times, which has given me a deep understanding of how emotional and exhausting (and exciting!) finding a home can be. 

Home has never been just a place for me—it’s a feeling. A sense of comfort, belonging, and starting fresh. I’ve always been drawn to homes and the spaces people live in. From new builds to historic charmers, treehouses to modern architecture—I love it all.

I studied psychology in college and spent years in sales and restaurant management, learning how to listen, anticipate needs, and support people through all kinds of decisions. That background—combined with my passion for design, function, and the meaning of “home”—is what led me to real estate.

In 2020, during one of the most chaotic housing markets in recent history, my husband and kids moved to the Roanoke Valley to be closer to family. What started as a temporary move turned into something permanent. After searching endlessly for a rental, we ended up buying a home because we simply had no other options. But what we found here was more than a house and proximity to family—we found roots. The natural beauty, the family-friendly pace of life, the affordability, and the incredible people here made it clear: This was home.

I know what it’s like to move across the country with kids in tow and no clear plan. I know the stress of starting over, finding your people, and turning a house into a home.
